Lodestar AI, operated by Frank Van Laarhoven, respects your privacy and collects as little as possible. This explains what we handle and why.
What we collect

- ·Purchase details — which manuscript you bought and when, for delivery and our records.
- ·Basic technical data — standard server logs and aggregate analytics (such as page views), used to keep the site secure and improve it.
What we do NOT collect
We never see or store your card or bank details. All payments are processed securely by PayPal or the storefront you buy through; they handle your payment data under their own policies.
Why we use it
To deliver your purchase and access code, provide support, keep records required by law, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the site. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
Who processes it
- ·PayPal and any storefront you use (Gumroad, Etsy, Kindle) — for payment and delivery.
- ·Vercel — website hosting, security, and file delivery.
- ·These providers process data only to run the service, under their own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase and contact records only for as long as needed to support your purchase and meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
Your rights
